The history of the Vaira’s Family.

After returning from a family trip, Gianni and Marina felt a deep desire to create something special, a place where even a stranger to these places could feel welcomed as at home.

Gianni restored the first apartments for La Rosa Gialla in 2003 in Monforte d’Alba, and Marina welcomed the first guests. In 2014, they decided to build new apartments next to the family house on the hill of Barolo, creating a place of well-being immersed in ample green spaces.

Every morning, the sun’s rays dance among the vineyards, and every evening, the setting sun colors the sky with warm hues, offering guests an experience enveloped in the magic of the Langhe. In every corner of this place, one can perceive the soul of the hills, the history of the vineyards, and the passion of Gianni and Marina, who have turned their dream into a unique reality, ready to welcome anyone wishing to experience the authentic beauty of Langhe life.

Since childhood Gianni worked in the land where he was born caring for vineyards and hazelnuts, but working as a decorator to support the family.

In 2018, when my younger sister Federica, opened her restaurant (URI), Gianni finally crowned a small dream in the drawer inheriting the land of Marina’s grandfather.

Thus, the first bottle of Dolcetto d’Alba certified AZIENDA AGRICOLA MARINA RINALDI.

Followed by the 2019 vintage Barolo and the ‘Brindè’ 2020 Traditional Method.

Our BAROLO wine is 100% nebbiolo grapes and the vineyard is located right in the property of La Rosa Gialla agriturismo. 

The small lands of Dolcetto d’Alba and white vineyard are instead located in Monforte and are the most historic cultivated first by my great grandfather, my grandfather and then replanted by my father in recent years.

The ‘title’ BRINDE’ of the CLASSIC METHOD is a Piedmontese word that means ‘to toast’, a wish born in a particularly difficult period for the whole world.
